How do I upload a GPX route?
On the Home Screen, tap "Assist Me". On the Route Selection Screen, tap the upload button at the top of the list. Select a .gpx file from your device — the route will be processed, stored, and automatically selected.
What fitness level should I choose?
Choose the level that best reflects your current cycling ability. Untrained and Beginner levels produce longer ETAs; Advanced and Athlete levels produce shorter ones. Intermediate is the default and works well for most recreational cyclists.
Why does the app need location access?
Location access is required for live activity tracking. The app uses your GPS position to determine where you are on the route so it can surface relevant weather alerts as you progress. Location is only used during an active session.
What weather data does Activity Assistant use?
Activity Assistant retrieves precipitation and temperature forecasts for specific GPS coordinates along your route. Rain and snow indicators are placed directly on the map so you can see exactly where and when adverse weather is expected.
Can I use the app offline?
The app requires an internet connection to fetch weather forecasts and to load map tiles. Route data is stored locally after upload, but analysis and live weather data require connectivity.
How do I resume an interrupted activity?
If you close the app mid-activity, the session remains active on the server. When you reopen the app and log in, you will be shown the Activity Resume Screen. Tap "Resume Activity" to continue tracking or "End Activity" to close the session.
How do I delete a route?
On the Route Selection Screen, swipe left on any route card to reveal the delete option. Confirm to remove the route permanently.
Is my data stored securely?
Authentication uses magic links — no passwords are stored. Your GPX routes and activity data are stored on our backend servers with standard security practices. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
